Bacon,the Best I have ever had in all my Life ! All the food was fantastic,we loved it. For the 2 nights we spent there it cost us about 6200 P, that includes round trip boat transportation,all meals and drinks. It was a little more than we typically spend but Driftwood Village is not typical of the places we stayed at previously, it was special ! We had a comfy bamboo cottage with private bathroom. This place is very popular so I strongly recommend making reservations. The shaded pool table and foozball table in a shaded area by the bar were great. The service was super friendly and efficient,the owner has a dream staff.

ITS WORTH THE VISIT

It’s a place you can go wild.

Don’t expect 5-star accommodation but expect a calm, peaceful, and traditional place and the perfect kiss of nature. The people are friendly, courteous, and accommodating. I love the hot shower and the hammock, the place is just a few steps away from the wonderful shore. I’m not a dog hater but I have phobias about dogs considering my experience being attacked in my childhood years, they have huge dogs but they just wanted to play and I guess they are safe (rabies-free I hope so) they drag my camera bag when I was taking shoot on the wonderful sunset but then the next morning they were swimming on the beach.. so amazing to see. It’s a perfect place to go wild, run everywhere without fear of getting hurt, the sand is fine and soft and it is so clean everywhere. driftwood seems to be the cheapest in sugar beach.

Excellent price for a cozy place with welcoming staff

It’s good value for money with lovely staff and beautiful surroundings. Prices range from PHP 300 in the dorm, PHP 450-600 for bungalows with shared bathrooms to PHP 800 for bungalows with private baths. You get everything you need in Driftwood Village, but also have other choices along the Sugar Beach, if you wish to change location during the day or evening.

I was greeted with such warmth and familiarity

For me and my wife, it was the family bonding. I was surprised when I called ahead and spoke with Daisy Ganz (which by the way is an amazing hostess) that I was able to accommodate my party of 13 people. I loved the fact, when I came upon the island (on what the Filipinos describe as a pump boat) I was greeted with such warmth and familiarity. I immediately knew I was going to have a great experience. The general surrounding of the village resort is very well kept. However, what truly made this resort unforgettable was the staff… ie… always smiling, helpful and constantly trying to cater all the guest individual needs to ensure a totally enjoyable stay. The excellent team of staff is what makes the resort a class above the rest.

There’s no other place like driftwood

There’s no other place like driftwood. I’ve been to different beaches and I always look for a place that could best describe PARADISE and I found it there in Sipalay. The sand may not be as white as the Boracay but it is the most perfect beach that I wanted to go to. The shore is clean, an sand beach, good healthy food, a chill ambiance, and of course the perfect sunset view. The place is romantic and chill and happy at the same time. The best of all the place is the cheapest. A perfect place for family, friends, lovers, and for those who want to rest and retreat alone. It is a place where you don’t want to leave and will always wish to come back when you do.

It’s not easy getting to Sugar Beach so this limit the number of guests. It’s a stunning beach in a small bay with 8 small guest resorts or so. At Driftwood, we quickly realized that most people were there for a month and were repeat visitors, so this tells you a lot!
The resort is pretty, understated and very reasonable. The highlight though is the staff who are amazing and will make your visit special. However, if you want action this is not the place! It’s very chill. At night there are enough options for eating at Driftwood and the other resorts. The food at Driftwood is also very good. Be sure to ask if you can see some choices for the cottages as they are all quite different.

I spent a few days at Driftwood village, what a great place to stay Staff is excellent, very friendly, great service, food good, brewed coffee to die for Rooms vary in price but are all very good, made out of bamboo, driftwood Perfectly positioned in the middle of Sugar Beach I spent most of my day swimming and lazing in the hammocks If you feel motivated to try the mountain climb with one of the guides I went up the mountain with Jimmy, what a legend, although he only wore slippers make sure you wear joggers, remember we are not as resilient as the Filipinos Best view you will ever see, worth the sweat involved So overall the Driftwood Village is an excellent place to stay and its the staff that put the icing on the cake, they spent half an hour waving goodbye to me when I left, Thanks girls you are all terrific Places are people and Driftwood certainly confirms that Salamat Kevin.

Friendly staff, Relaxing, simply amazing experience! Well recommended for people who want to chill away from the city. Tasty food.

Best Resort

Best Resort on the Beach, Food is amazing, the Staff is very Familiery and the beach with the Sunset is Great.
What i will do more??
I am sure I will come back
